About Us
Fenton Records is making a revival that includes a creative future which incorporates all genres of music and gives a house to a community-based, non-profit and Cultural Community Center for the Sparta Village, and surrounding areas!!!
As the venture of renewing this former 1960's, iconic garage rock label and studio has unfolded, it has become apparent that the Sparta Village and community are in need of a Cultural Community Center. So, the initial idea of resurrecting the record label and studio has quickly turned into a complete community-based project. Our goal- to provide several multi-media rooms for classes/lessons, with this campaign benefitting children/families in need of lessons, instruments and more. If all goes as planned, we'll include a small community garden in the back courtyard area. We are also opening this space for clients to take art classes, music classes/lessons and clinics (by professionals in the industry), photography/videography and so much more!
Your contributions, sponsorships and donations will be helping the children and residents of this community, the surrounding areas, the state and the arts. We will have a "Fenton-ite Wall of Fame" in the building, to honor by name the philanthropists, donors/sponsors for contributions at $250.00 or higher.
Part of the excitement of the Fenton Records revival was to secure the theatre that previously housed the label and recording studio, in Sparta, Michigan. Thankfully, we're finishing up the interior of this building, so we can house the non-profit and combine it with a Cultural Community Center that focuses on arts and education.
With your generous assistance, we will be able to turn our dream into a huge blessing for the community, the surrounding areas and the music and art worlds.
It truly does take a village...
