A revival of Fenton Records is presently being developed and will reopen its doors in the same city where it all began. Sparta, Michigan residents won't have to wait too long to have a state of the art recording facility in its midst. Gregory Peak saw an opportunity to invest in his community and give the youth in his area a place to make stellar recordings, so he obtained the name rights to re-open Fenton Records. Together with a group of Sparta area residents, and a consultant he partnered with that has extensive experience in the music industry, this new Fenton team is focused on maintaining the utmost integrity with the re-established label, and eventual studio, while providing an environment conducive and appealing to the national and international recording world. Along the journey to set off the Fenton Records revival, it became apparent that Sparta needs a multicultural Community Center, to bring the arts back to the Village! So, the original building will house an array of creative, artistic, musical and other opportunities for the community.
